Degenerative Joint Disease (osteoarthritis) is the successive wear of the cartilage in the joints, which occurs over the years. In advanced stages, the bones that are closest to the joints, to the synovial membranes, the joint and muscle capsules are subjected to changes. This means that the osteoarthritis is not only limited to the cartilage but it can, instead, affect the entire joint.
A number of osteoarthritis treatments are currently available, varying from medication and physiotherapy to surgical interventions, as well as complimentary therapies, such as acupuncture. Most of these treatments focus on alleviating symptoms, such as the pain associated to this condition, rather than on the cause – the degeneration of the cartilage – because almost no treatments are available as yet.
However, if timely detected and properly treated, several of the consequences associated to osteoarthritis can be avoided, even though there are no universally applicable treatments or treatments that are guaranteed to work.
The New MBST Therapy:
One of the most newest available treatments is MBST ® Therapeutic Nuclear Magnetic Resonance, which allows for the use of physical magnetic resonance phenomena for therapeutic purposes. Magnetic Resonance Therapy aims at alleviating the pain and supporting the natural regeneration of the cartilage.
MBST ® Therapeutic Nuclear Magnetic Resonance has a very low impact on the body. Patients successfully treated with MBST ® registered significant joint degeneration decreases, as well as the total disappearance of pain depending on the affected area. MBST ® Therapeutic Nuclear Magnetic Resonance does not cause any secondary effects or pain.

If your symptoms recommend the MBST ® treatment, your physician will establish the characteristics and the number of therapy sessions required. The sessions are performed on consecutive days and last for one hour each. Most people believe that the treatment as such is rather pleasant, as during the therapy sessions the patient will sit comfortably and relaxed. The Magnetic Resonance Treatment may be supplemented or combined with other treatments, upon the physician’s recommendation.
