  • multiple etiology;
  • nodular erythematous rash with contusiform evolution; nodular lesions are mainly located at the level of the lower limbs, and they can be sensitive or painful;
  • they heal without scarring or atrophy.

The main cause of the erythema nodosum are the bacterial infections with Streptococcus, Yersinia, Salmonella.
