What Is Mesotherapy?

Needle mesotherapy is a non-surgical minimally invasive medical treatment, involving the multiple injection into the mesoderm (the most active skin layer) of strong antioxidants, vitamins, amino acids and active drugs. They act as a barrier against free oxygen radicals and boost local collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid production, with a rejuvenating effect.

The therapy is used to obtain in-depth hydration, enhance the skin texture and counter the aging effects at the level of the face, neck and neckline, but also as rejuvenating treatment for the hands.

To Whom Is Mesotherapy Addressed?

Procedures address both women and men. A number of 3 to 10 sessions are recommended, at intervals of 2 – 4 weeks, depending on the individual situation. For optimum results, it is recommended to also associate other customized treatments, such as chemical peeling, hair vitamins and supplements, medical treatments, blood tests.

Mesotherapy is also used to treat hair loss, androgenic alopecia and telogen effluvium, through the injection of an active substance cocktail that boosts local circulation and provides essential hair nutrients.

Optimum results are also obtained in the treatment of post acne scars, in combination with the Dermapen Therapy, for an increased collagen production.

A topical anaesthetic cream is applied in order to reduce the slight discomfort felt during the injection of the active substances, and the procedure lasts for about 30 minutes, with a very short recovery time.
